New Forest Festival

storytelling, music, food, arts & crafts, film, and more…

local & cultural events for all

After three years and three wonderful festivals, – two at Minstead Study Centre (2010 & 2011) and one at Brockenhurst College (2012), – we decided to take a break in 2013. It takes a lot to run a festival and quite honestly we’re all a bit pooped!

Each year’s festival has only been possible through an incredible community effort so thank you again to everyone who’s been involved.
Please get in touch if you’d like to be involved with future festivals and join our facebook page for updates when we have them!

REFLECTIONS on 2012.

The New Forest Festival 2012 was held on Saturday 22nd September. – A daytime and evening event celebrating the talents of New Forest people and businesses – music, arts and crafts, food, film, storytelling and more. For adults and children there was something for every age and interest.

The format was entertainment and involvement for all during the day, opening at 11am, with workshops, trade stands, cookery theatre, storytelling, performing arts events all day until 6pm. Music kicked off at 12 noon, and alternated between the Main Stage and the Second Stage, with street performers moving around the site during the day too. From 6pm it was music only ramping up the sounds until 10.30pm.

The New Forest Festival is run by a not for profit Community Interest Company and aims to serve both the people who live in or visit the New Forest and the natural environment that sustains them – with an absolute commitment to high standards of environmental sustainability and education.

With thanks to our sponsors and partners
